Erasing Variocse Veins
I’ve been married to my husband to my husband for 17 years, and I can tell he’s still attracted to me, but I’m starting to notice how my body is changing. And not for the better. I try to eat right, I run and do Pilates three days a week, but there’s one problem that any diet or exercise program can’t erase. Growing up I remember my mother always had these red and black lines on her legs, but I thought nothing of it. It turns out they were varicose veins and that it was a genetic trait passed down through her side of the family. Her sister was lucky enough to dodge it, but not my mom. I didn’t have them for a while, and seeing how my mom said hers started in her mid-30’s I thought I was safe. I’m 43 now, and I didn’t see any signs of varicose veins until about 2 years ago. They started off real thin and faint, but in the past 6-8 months they’ve gotten bad. I had to try and hide them this past summer, and I was so self conscious about them I’d only stand up and sit down in certain ways to hide them from whoever was around. One night I was fed up with living like this, so I went to some skin care websites and found one that was amazing. It had a very extensive overview of the laser skin treatment process, and I couldn’t resist reading on. When I went to the directory, I not only found articles on varicose veins but other issues that laser skin treatment can help. I set up an appointment for a consultation, and I’m hoping to have the procedure done in a week or two. I’ve always been proud of my appearance and want my husband to stay attracted to me, plus I have drawers and drawers full of sexy shorts that I can’t wait to bring back out next summer!
