I Can See Clearly Now

My remaining friends from high school and I plan a “guys weekend” twice a year, and unfortunately we had to cancel our snowboarding trip in November. Two of the guys were unable to make it so the other three guys bailed too, and although I was disappointed I now had a good amount of money saved up. I figured I should spend it on myself, but didn’t have anything come to mind right away. A coworker of mine had just had Lasik Eye Surgery done and raved about it, and I’ve been plagued by my horrible vision since birth, so I figured I see if it was for me. I asked George how he went about finding a place to have it done, and he sent me the url for a Lasik Eye Surgery website so I looked it up during lunch that day. To me, lasers and eyeballs don’t mix, but this site was exceptionally informative and left me wanting more. I figured their sitemap had a little more information, but when I clicked on the link they had like 90 or 100 articles about eye surgery. I work in research and found all of this interesting and felt like I was making an educated decision after reading it all. I filled out the form and was called a day later, and a week later I had no reason for all of the “contact clutter” in my medicine cabinet. I still wish we could’ve went on that three day snowboarding trip, but not having to go through the monotonous routine of putting in, cleaning, and taking out my contacts is something I can enjoy everyday!
